Passive to Active: Sentence Transformation
Structure:
Subject + verb + object + ———
- Cricket is being played by the boys.
➡️ The boys are playing cricket. - Rice is eaten by us.
- I was loved by her.
- The work will be done by me.
- The work has been done by him.
- A book is being read by the boy.
Special Notes
- When “by + object” is not necessary or not used, it can be omitted from passive sentences. But if we want to change it into active, we have to consider by + object for using subject.
