Q. He is absent from the meeting.
Ans. Isn’t he absent from the meeting?

Rule-2. Don’t / doesn’t / didn’t / + subject + verb Gi present form + ————?
* প্রশ্নে verb এর present form থাকলে do হবে।
* প্রশ্নে verb এর s/es form থাকলে does হবে।
* প্রশ্নে verb এর past form থাকলে did হবে।
Q. He went there yesterday.
Ans – Didn’t he go there yesterday?
Q. Marconi invented the radio.
Q. She likes white gloves.
Q. I read the newspaper everyday.
কিন্তু যে বাক্য থেকে interrogative করবো সে বাক্যে not থাকলে n’t বসাতে হবে না। এবং never এর জায়গায় ever এবং nothing এর জায়গায় anything বসাতে হবে।
Q. He is not a good student.
Ans. Is he a good student?
Q. He was not irresponsible.
Q. I shall not go to college.
Q. I never drink tea.
Q. I have nothing to do.
Q. I shall never forget your advice.
Q. There is nothing wrong with me.
2. বাক্যে subject হিসাবে nothing থাকলে এর জায়গায় what বসাতে হবে।
Q. Nothing will happen there.
Ans. What will happen there?
Q. Nothing can ruin him.
Q. Nothing is permanent in this world.
3. বাক্যে everybody / everyone / all থাকলে
Who + don’t/doesn’t/didn’t + verb + ——–?
Q. Everybody hankers after death.
Ans. Who doesn’t hanker after death?

Q. Everybody went there.
4. বাক্যে nobody / no one / none থাকলে
Who + verb + —————?
Q. No one can do this.
Ans. Who can do this?

Q. No one can count my love for you.
5. এসব ছাড়াও WH question এর নিয়ম দ্বারাও interrogative করতে হয়।

Transformation from Assertive to Imperative
Imperative sentences সাধারণত order, advice, request, prohibition, instruction বা necessity বোঝায়।
Assertive বাক্যে যদি এই ভাব থাকে, তবে সহজেই Imperative এ রূপান্তর করা যায়।
Rule 1: Necessity / Duty → Imperative
Structure: It is necessary to / You should / You ought to / One should → Imperative form
- Assertive: It is necessary to work hard.
- Imperative: Work hard.
(কঠোর পরিশ্রম করা প্রয়োজন → পরিশ্রম করো) - Assertive: You should respect your parents.
- Imperative: Respect your parents.
Rule 2: Prohibition → Imperative
Structure: It is bad / harmful / wrong to → Do not / Never + verb
- Assertive: It is bad to tell a lie.
- Imperative: Do not tell a lie.
- Assertive: It is harmful to smoke.

Structure: It is good / wise / prudent to → Verb form

Transformation from Assertive to Optative
Optative sentences সাধারণত wish, blessing, curse, prayer, বা regret প্রকাশ করে।
Assertive বাক্যে যদি এই ভাব থাকে তবে Optative এ রূপান্তর করতে হয়।
Rule 1: Wish / Desire → Optative
Structure: I wish / I desire / I hope / I long for → May + subject + verb
- Assertive: I wish you a happy life.
- Optative: May you live a happy life.
- Assertive: I hope he will succeed.
- Optative: May he succeed.
Rule 2: Prayer / Blessing → Optative
Structure: I pray that / I hope Allah will / I desire that God may → May + subject + verb

Rule 3: Curse / Bad Wish → Optative
